Laura Red Now Available in Vintages
Hugely popular and possibly the best vintage to date of our flagship red blend. The 2007 Laura Red is comprised of five Bordeaux grapes this time around – yes we were able to scrounge up some great Malbec and Petit Verdot from this stellar vintage. Double Gold winner for best Meritage/Cab Merlot blend of show at the 2010 All Canadian Wine Awards, and Best Meritage Under $20 at the Royal Winter Fair Wine Competition.
We’ve knocked a couple of bucks off the price just in time for the holiday season to make your gift giving as painless as possible. Consider it our gift to you and a token of our gratitude for a great 2010. Check out the Creekside Website to read up on reviews and scoop recipes for suggested food pairings, and stop by your local Vintages in December to pick some up!
Need convincing? Here is what Master Sommelier John Szabo had to say about the wine: “Here’s a polished, modern, new world style wine with a generous dose of oak and ripe, juicy black berry and black cherry flavours. Acid is lively and brisk, tannins medium and length above average. All in all, a fine, juicy, nicely structured red that’s beginning to drink now but will also hold mid-term in the cellar.” Score: 89 points, John Szabo, WineAlign, November 2010
