Sourced entirely from our Queenston Road Vineyard in the warm St. David's Bench sub-appellation. Fruit was fermented in small batches with manual punchdown of the cap followed by 31 months ageing in predominantly American oak [50% were new wood]. Individual barrel selection yielded a 9 barrel blend typifying what we have some to associate with QRV Merlot. 160, cases, bottled June 2010. This 'Big Bomber' will benifit from age: 2014 - 2020
