100% Riesling Icewine grapes harvested late January 2008 at 35.75° Brix. The grapes were gently pressed and fermented and aged in older, neutral French oak barrels. Riesling is an slightly unusual variety but we were quite pleased by natural acidity of Riesling balances well with the high sugar content of Icewine. Bottled Nov. 14th, 2008.

“This is showing deep bright gold-yellow colour, likely due to ageing in oak barrels, which is rare for Riesling Icewine. Lovely , gentle nose of creme brulee, marmalade and oak spice with pineapple-guava fruit. It's sweet, brisk and blunt with good acidity and excellent length.
