Queenston Road Vineyard
VQA St. David’s BenchRed wine 750ml12.5% alc./vol
An elegant bouquet showing classic aromas of black cherry, wild raspberry and savoury beetroot. The palate is rich and silky with moderate tannins finishing with a hint of darkness chocolate. We wanted this Pinot Noir to showcase the elegant character of Niagara Pinot without showing excessive oak influence. Drinking well now (give it some air!) or rest in the cellar to 2022 to encourage a silky texture over time.

A pleasantly firm and grippy, dark fruit-led pinot with firm grippy tannins and pronounced acids - I appreciate the honest rusticity here, the genuine pinot character. Revisit this in 2-3 years, should be a fine expression, especially for the price - terrific value in the pinot category.

An engaging, amiable and attractive pinot noir. Well-priced, lightweight but not light on flavour. Lovely perfume, violets, red licorice, bright cherry and touch of leather entice on the nose. Slightly drying tannins provide structure on the palate. Nicely ripened, harmonious and with a touch of pleasant lift. Cola and cherry linger on the finish of very good length.
