2013Reserve Sauvignon Blanc

Creek Shores Vineyard

    $30.00 / Bottle

VQA Creek Shores
White wine 750ml
13% alc./vol

The balanced and moderate temperatures of the 2013 vintage are reflected in this reserve blend. The nose is a complex mix of tropical and citrus fruits with toasty oak. The palate has rich, lush fruit flavours balanced by the grapes natural citrus acidity and framed with creamy oak notes. Drinking well now, this wine will age 2 – 4 years for added complexity.

"Seven barrels make up the Reserve, ferments new (four) and old (three), leading to a richer, fatter and spicier style. Dreamy really, as matchstick and flint join the fray in a Pouilly-Fumé way. That pierre à fusil is exaggerated by the warmth of 2012, with an elevated tang, rendering the flavours even more akin to Old World, Loire Sauvignon Blanc."
