The 2024 growing season was warm with great conditions. Early bud break fast-tracked the season making for a sooner than usual start to harvest. This rosé was made with a combination of methods – saignée on some small batches, short skin contact in press for most of the rest. Primarily fermented in stainless steel, with a few varieties fermented in older French oak puncheons. All of these elements lead to a more interesting and complex wine. It's elegant and pretty with good intensity of flavour. Sunshine in a glass!
Charcuterie with melon, bbq salmon, feta and watermelon salad, crab cakes, grilled halloumi with pesto, sunshine and happiness. Pretty much anything goes with rosé!
