Just as every vintage is different, every vintage of Laura’s Red is a different blend to make the best wine possible. 2020 was an exceptional year, showing classic old world character with great structure, intensity and ageing potential.
With all this attitude in one glass, you need a pairing with just as much Chutzpah! Grilled flank steak with an authentic chimichurri sauce is ideal. The bold protein softens the structure of the tannins, while the herbs of the chimichurri sauce bring out all those delightful savoury herbs from the mid-palate. Not a carnivore? Might we suggest forest mushroom risotto with a healthy helping of shaved parmesan Reggiano?
